We’re in a Book, Part 2
You may recall part 1 of this series, where Rich is mentioned, along with his post on the IdeaFactory, in Niall Cook’s book Enterprise 2.0: How Social Software Will Change the Future of Work.
Now for part 2. Paul and I are quoted and Connect is covered in a soon to be released book called Social Media at Work: How Networking Tools Propel Organizational Performance by three people who work at Oracle, specializing in organizational development: Arthur L. Jue, Jackie Alcalde Marr and Mary Ellen Kassotakis.
Also featured in the book are several of our friends from TalentedApps and Gretchen Alarcon, who incidentally was also featured in the Oracle Innovation Showcase.
The book is available for pre-order now and will hit the shelves sometime in mid-October, and because of the closeness to OpenWorld, the authors are pushing to get copies out in time for that shindig. Apparently, there will be book signings, tentatively in the early afternoon on Tuesday and Thursday during the conference.
So, if you’re interested, head over to Amazon and pre-order a copy, and if you’re going to OpenWorld, you’ll have a chance to get it signed by the authors and maybe if you ask nicely, by some of the people quoted in the book.
